Warren Franklin

Warren Franklin started his career solo, displayed in the excellent CYLS LP debut Your Heart Belongs to the Midwest, but soon discovered he wanted to add more layers and dynamics only a full band could capture. In moving to a full band, Franklin became edgier and more bold, putting step into his eclectic indie-pop. Think of Warren and his merry men as the marriage between equal parts The Smiths, The Ergs, and the modern “Emo Revival”. Smart and concise pop music at its best. The Founding Fathers features members of Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate), Joie De Vivre, Kittyhawk, The Island of Misfit Toys, and more.
