Last Bandcamp Friday of the year!
Posted on December 6th, 2024
Bandcamp Friday is back, right on the heels of Black Friday! Don't worry, Bandcamp Friday- we didn't forget about you. We continue our sales where we offer 5 items for cheap, delving into the fourth round of cassettes. We are also featuring 5 random cassettes for $20 and 5 12" vinyl releases for $50. So many ways to save! To top it off, we've done the thing where all digital is name your own price (yes, even zero- although it makes us happier if you do a little more than that)
Today's cassette sale features:
- En Garde "Debts": Another band that features members of other CYLS bands (this one has Andy from Annabel), En Garde was a two-piece band in the styling of Thrice and Say Anything. Good stuff!
- Expert Timing "Live in Stereo": This EP finds the band doing what they do best- writing good pop songs with a punk/alternative edge that always get stuck in your head- BUT LIVE. FFO: Hey Mercedes, The Anniversary, Hot Rod Circuit
- Parting "Unmake Me": We say this a bit tongue in cheek, but Parting is an Emo Revival supergroup, featuring current and former members from Annabel, Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate), and Dowsing. If you take the best parts of each of those bands, you get Parting- upbeat, catchy songs that still manage to break your heart. A must have.
- Polkadot "...to be crushed": A band that avoided the sophomore slump so hard that 100 other bands must have gotten the yips just from listening. Twee, indie, indie-pop? Whatever genre it is, it's good. FFO :Tigers Jaw, Everyone Asked About You, Dear Nora
- Tiny Blue Ghost "The Underneath": Dreamy indie rock that paints pictures out of soundscapes with soaring vocals to match. FFO: Death Cab for Cutie, Great Grandpa
Other new releases you need to check out, you ask? Why the new Bottom Bracket LP "I'm So Afraid Of Where" and the new CYLS Split featuring Camp Trash, Expert Timing, Mt. Oriander, and Thank You, I'm Sorry. Those and like over 100 more, lol. Best get to listening!
Get the deals while you can because Bandcamp Friday still only lasts 24 hours!
