It's the first Bandcamp Friday of the year and we brought back one of our favorite series of sales! We've selected five newer vinyl album releases and made each of them just $15! We've also made all digital name your price, so fill up your cart with all the digital goodies you can carry and download them in any format you desire. We also added a BUNCH of shirts late last year, so if you're looking at getting some fresh gear, now is your chance. Check out what we added here.
This sale only runs 24 hours- and if you are reading this now, chances are you have less than that. So get on it! Take a gander at our catalog here and go ham.
Choose from these 12" records:
Camp Trash "Two Hundred Thousand Dollars": The long awaited follow up to the excellent "The Long Way, The Slow Way," that sees the band grow further into indie-pop sensibilities. Catchy hooks and big choruses pave the way to an album that pay off big.
FFO: Superchunk, Fountains of Wayne, Oso Oso
Colleen Dow "Inside Voices Deluxe": A collection of songs from Thank You, I'm Sorry frontperson Colleen Dow. Indie-pop goodness. Synth pop fused with indie rock.
FFO: The Postal Service, Now Now
Drunk Uncle "o, brittle weather!": Drunk Uncle’s sophomore follow up to ‘Look Up’, ‘O, brittle weather!’ tells a story painted by acoustic and electric guitars, floating bass, keys, horns and carefully crafted percussion. Melodic and emotional vocals splash throughout.
FFO: Modest Mouse, Broken Social Scene, Maps & Atlases.
The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick "The Iliad and the Odyssey and the Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick": Majestic final album from the indie-rock collective that paints a stunning landscape with dual vocalists, guitar, keys, strings, and more.
FFO: Carissa's Wierd, The World is a Beautiful Place, Codeine
Superdown "Return to Sender": Barreling straight into song after song, Boston Massachusetts outfit Superdown live each note like there is no tomorrow. Vocals move from gentle to guttural at a moment's notice. The music heightens and breaks into a driving force that feels like it is carrying you to shore through a violent sea. If Samiam and Hot Water Music had the sensibility of The Gaslight Anthem, the result would be Superdown.
Remember, the clock is ticking, so get shopping!
